Two Orbit Homes schemes in Mid Suffolk
Brook Gardens is at Elmswell, between the two towns. Homestead Park is at Stonham Aspal, to the east of Stowmarket. Both are for Orbit Homes and both are handed over.
On each we carried out dry lining, plastering and external render. We were at Homestead Park from October 2024 to March 2026 and at Brook Gardens from January 2025 to January 2026, so the two ran side by side for a year.
Affordable homes at Elmswell and Stonham Aspal
Every one of the 65 homes at Brook Gardens is affordable, 31 for social rent and 34 for shared ownership. That matches Orbit Homes' own figures.
Homestead Park is mixed tenure. Of its 46 homes, 24 are affordable, and that count is JMC's own.
